Ivan Klčovský
“A gastronomic experience on a plate is practically a necessity in today's fast-paced world", says our head Chef Ivan Klčovský. Guided by this motto, he prepares meals and creates a seasonal menu.
For our restaurant, Ivan Klčovský has designed a menu featuring specialties from Mediterranean and local cuisine. The dishes are prepared in a healthy and tasty way in our modern kitchen facilities. He also pays special attention to our little guests, creating a special children's menu for them. /p>
Chef Ivan Klčovský reigned over the kitchen of a 5-star hotel, preparing meals for several prominent personalities, including the presidents of Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, as well as various ambassadors, ministers, state delegations, and well-known actors and singers. Singapore's Ambassador Jennie Chua praised his dish with the words, "...that was the best duck I’ve eaten in Slovakia."
Hotel Restaurant
We offer our hotel guests half-board dining, including a buffet breakfast and a five-course dinner. Every day, we prepare a special children's menu for our youngest guests.
The à la carte menu features Slovak cuisine, international specialties, wellness salads, kid-friendly meals, and popular desserts.
Breakfast is served buffet-style, offering a wide selection of hot dishes, cold cuts, healthy spreads, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh fruit and vegetable juices, and loose-leaf teas.
The popular five-course dinner includes a self-serve selection of fresh salads, a served appetizer, a served soup, and a main course (choice of five dishes), followed by dessert and a selection of cheeses and fruits. The evening menu features fresh fish, poultry, pasta, vegetarian specialties, and grilled dishes.
Celiacs are warmly welcome
Our head chef prepares up to 90% of dishes using gluten-free ingredients. Gluten-free meals are clearly marked on the menu, and a lactose-free version can be prepared upon request. Gluten-free dishes and desserts are a regular part of both the evening menu and the à la carte selection in our hotel restaurant.
The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of gluten-free options, including special gluten-free products such as gluten-free bread and pastries, dairy products, meat products, buckwheat flakes, instant rice flakes, rice cakes, and gluten-free cookies.
All food service staff at Wellness Hotel Chopok** regularly attend specialized training on celiac disease, the gluten-free diet, and the principles of preparing gluten-free meals.
Opening Hours
- Breakfast: Buffet style, served from 07:00 to 10:00 hrs.
- Lunch: À la carte selection, available from 12:00 to 17:00 hrs.
- Dinner (pre-ordered): Five-course served menu, available from 18:00 to 21:00 hrs.
